Refunds & Cancellations

Clear, fair rules for cancelling a booking or requesting a refund on RushTasker.

Customer cancellations

  • More than 24 hours before start: full refund, no fee.
  • 4–24 hours before start: 50% refund; the remaining 50% is paid to the Tasker as a hold fee.
  • Less than 4 hours before start, or no-show: no refund.

Tasker cancellations

If a Tasker cancels, the Customer receives a full refund automatically. Repeat cancellations affect the Tasker's response rate and visibility.

Service issues

If a job is not completed as agreed, contact the Tasker first to resolve. If unresolved within 48 hours, open a dispute from your booking page. RushTasker may, in its discretion, issue a partial or full refund from escrowed funds.

Dispute window

Disputes must be opened within 7 days of the scheduled completion date. After 7 days, funds are released to the Tasker and are not refundable through the Platform.

Non-refundable fees

Payment processing fees and any Tasker subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension.
